Introducing of Amol University of Special Modern Technologies
Amol University of Special Modern Technologies (AUSMT) is the first specialized university of technology in Iran and the fifth state university in Mazandaran province. It began its initial activities in 2009 as the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine under Mazandaran University. In 2013, with the final approval of the Development Council of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT), it was officially upgraded to Amol University of Special Modern Technologies (AUSMT).
AUSMT initially offered six undergraduate programs in Animal Science, Food Hygiene and Control, Aromatic Herbal Products, Veterinary Laboratory Sciences, Meat Health andInspection, and Engineering Modern Technologies. Today, the university hasexpanded significantly and now comprises four faculties and 27 departments, aslisted below:

c) Faculty of Medicinal Plants
d) Faculty of Engineering Modern Technologies

Since its inception, AUSMT university has amassed and shared knowledge through high-level research, striving to educate future leaders capable of addressing pressing national and global challenges. Guided by our core principle of fostering international partnerships with other universities, we have actively promoted the enrollment of numerous students from abroad. As of September 2024, our institution has welcomed a diverse cohort of international students, comprising full-time degree-seeking students across various academic disciplines and exchange students hailing from a multitude of countries.
