According to the public relations report of the university, the Third International Conference on Modern Technologies in Sciences was held at the campus of Amol University of Special Modern Technologies, with the presence of the conference chair, secretary, scientific and executive secretary, and both domestic and international guests.
This international conference, attended by domestic guests such as Dr. Mehdi Nejad Nouri, Deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Dr. Matekan, the respected head of UNESCO Iran, Dr. Mansouri Larijani, a respected member of Imam Hussein University (AS), as well as international guests including Dr. Rahman K. Muhsen, Dr. Hasanin H. Nasir from the University of Basra in Iraq, Paulo Martin Dr. from the University of Switzerland, and Dr. Arifah Binti Abdul Kadir from the University of Putra Malaysia, was held in five specialized panels on biological sciences, veterinary medicine, medicinal plants, engineering, and basic sciences.
At the beginning of the event, Dr. Akbar Hajizadeh Moghaddam, the conference chair, welcomed the esteemed guests and said: We are grateful to God that we have been able to hold the Third International Conference on Modern Technologies in Sciences after a four-year hiatus due to the coronavirus in the new building of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Amol University of Special Modern Technologies. We hope that this conference will create a suitable environment for the growth and research of our beloved country, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the fields of basic sciences, engineering, veterinary medicine, and other areas related to the conference on new technologies, and will be a platform for the exchange of scientific information and new advances, because the development and pride of our beloved Iran will be in your hands, researchers.
Dr. Hajizadeh Moghaddam, the president of Amol University of Special Modern Technologies, mentioned the number of articles in the conference, stating that 550 articles were accepted for poster presentation and 200 articles for oral presentation by the secretariat of the Third International Conference on Modern Technologies in Amol. Additionally, 10 related articles will be presented by speakers from countries such as Iran, Switzerland, Austria, and Iraq in specialized panels.
He mentioned the main themes of the conference and added: Medicine and health, biological and genetic sciences, new and renewable energies, veterinary sciences, and basic engineering sciences are the main themes of this scientific conference in the city of Amol.
The conference chair then referred to the objectives of the event and said: Presenting up-to-date scientific achievements in various fields, including biological sciences, veterinary medicine, medicinal plants, engineering, and basic sciences, has been one of the important objectives of this international conference.
The president of Amol University of Special Modern Technologies added: The processing of medicinal plants, nanotechnology in sciences, environmental challenges, knowledge-based economy and employment, sustainable agriculture and food security, artificial intelligence and cyber systems, computer networks and data processing, basic sciences (chemistry, mathematics, physics), veterinary sciences (basic sciences, pathobiology, and clinical sciences), and engineering sciences (electrical, mechanical, chemical) have also been the themes of this conference.
In the concluding part of his speech, the conference chair reminded: The top articles of this conference will be published in the specialized journal of veterinary medicine and the journal of engineering and new technology.
Following the conference program, Dr. Mehdi Nejad Nouri, the respected deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, also referred to the key role of such conferences and stated: Considering the words of the Supreme Leader, the key role of science and research in the path to the peaks of progress is very important, and we can take advantage of such scientific opportunities to find dynamic and capable young people and strive to create the necessary environments for achieving countless scientific achievements.
During the one-day conference at Amol University of Special Modern Technologies, scientific and educational workshops were held in both theoretical and practical forms for the participants, and the articles presented by the students were discussed and reviewed by the judges.
The closing session included a speech by Dr. Mansouri Larijani, a respected member of the faculty of Imam Hussein University (AS), Dr. Farid Samsami Khodadad, the respected scientific secretary of the conference, and an award ceremony for the best achievements of the conference.
