According to the University Public Relations Office, citing the Office of the Vice President for Education and Research, Amol University of Special Modern Technologies has achieved rank 31 among the 48 Iranian universities included in the QS Asia 2026 ranking.

Dr. Nazari, the Vice President for Education and Research, stated that Amol University of Special Modern Technologies attained this position due to its outstanding scientific, research, and technological achievements. The university secured the 31st rank among 48 Iranian universities evaluated by the reputable QS ranking system. Furthermore, it achieved rank 224 among 485 universities in the South Asian region and was placed within the 741–750 range among 1,529 Asian universities.

The methodology of the QS Asia 2026 ranking incorporates various indicators for assessing universities. In this evaluation, Amol University of Special Modern Technologies obtained the following scores: 96.7 for “papers per faculty,” 93.6 for “citations per paper,” and 36.1 for the “international research network” indicator.
