According to the Public Relations Office of the University, student teams from Amol University of Special Modern Technologies, under the supervision of Mr. Seyed Reza Hassani and Dr. Maryam Jenabian, achieved remarkable success at the National Technological Sports Olympiad for University Students, held at Amirkabir University of Technology from September 11 to 15, 2025 (21–25 Shahrivar 1404). The teams secured second place in the Autonomous Vehicle Competition (Robotics Division) and sixth place in the FIFA 24 Digital Games Division.
The Olympiad, organized to provide a competitive and vibrant environment for university students across the country, hosted nearly 700 participants from 85 universities in four main categories.
The student team of Amol University of Special Modern Technologies, consisting of Mehdi Davoudi and Seyed Mehrad Haghighi, undergraduate students of Computer Engineering, guided by Mr. Seyed Reza Hassani and coached by Engineer Afra Vahidi Shams, won second place in the Autonomous Vehicle Competition. This outstanding achievement was earned among ten participating teams representing prestigious universities such as Amirkabir University of Technology, Arak University of Technology, Isfahan University of Technology, Lorestan University, Yazd University, Bojnord University, and Shahid Beheshti University.
In the Digital Games Division, Mr. Reza Vafaei, an undergraduate student of Food Hygiene, secured sixth place in FIFA 24 among 128 male participants from universities nationwide.
